Structure

Anyone starting a business with Arbonne joins the team of an already established independent consultant, who themselves originally joined someone else's team. All of the consultants above you in the hierarchy are known as your "upline", and they benefit financially from your success - hence their desire to help you succeed. Should you succeed in recruiting others to become independent consultants, they become part of your "downline". Success with Arbonne depends both on a strong upline to mentor, encourage and train, but also on the determination, resourcefulness and commitment of the independent consultant. The system is designed not to hold anyone back from success - those who are most skilled and determined can see their financial compensation rise rapidly and without limit. 

Compensation

Independent consultants initially earn the majority of their income from a percentage of the profits generated from sales to their customers. The percentage earned from sales increases as certain sales targets are met, and a variety of other monthly bonus and discount programs help the independent consultant maximize revenue. Should an independent consultant succeed in building a team of other independent consultants, he/she will begin making profits from the sales of all team members. It is one of the most generous and merit based compensation package.
